He began his career in the mid 60s. Both his studies at the University of Parma and his contact with photography in America, brought him into contact with great personalities of the art photography world from which his work has been greatly influenced. His collaboration with the Theatre Municipal was an opportunity to turn his focus towards theater photography and especially stage photography.
