Merlo Lorenzo

Born in March 27, 1935, in 1967 he received a degree in photography from the New York Institute of Photography. From 1974 to 1987 he was director of the Photography Gallery of the Canon Foundation in Amsterdam, a period during which he organized major exhibitions for numerous museums and cultural centers. He has served as art director and curator in major international events and institutions. In 1985, together with Claude Nori and Gabriel Bauret, he founded the magazine Camera International, published in Paris.
Since 1988, he has continued his activity as an independent photographer in Aosta. His photographs have been shown in personal exhibitions in Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Japan, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and the United States. His photographic works have been published in numerous photography books and magazines.
