Born in Serres, Greece. He studied photography at the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens. He attended a 6-month seminar for artistic photography at the “Photography Circle” with rapporteur Plato Rivellis, which is a founding member. He has taught photography at the ESP School of Athens, Department of Photography at the TEI of Athens, and since 2007 teaches at Leica Academy Creative Photography. He collaborated with the magazines E Eleftherotypia, Marie Claire and Cinema. Since 1996, he is head of the photographic archive of the Jewish Museum of Greece. He has held two solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions.
