Bernadó Jordi (1966 – )

Born in 1966 in Lleida, Spain, Jordi Bernado lives and works in Barcelona. His work can be found in prestigious collections, such as the Fundació “La Caixa”, Fundación Telefónica, Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Deutsche Bank Collection, Artium, MUSAC, Fundación Vila Casas, Banc Sabadell etc. He has held solo exhibitions and has participated in many collective ones in Madrid, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Paris, New York etc
Jordi Bernadó explores contemporary architecture, urban spaces, and landscapes and produces large-scale, black-and-white and color photographs. A he said once, he is interested in photography as a means to capture the architecture and the urban character of a city. Among other locations, he has captured scenes in Atlanta, Detroit, Shanghai, Tokyo, Bangkok, Cape Town, and Berlin in the 1990s after the fall of the wall.
