Alnis Stakle lives and works in Latvia. He holds a Ph.D. in Art education from Daugavpils University in Latvia. He has exhibited widely since 1998 including Chelsea Art Museum in New York, Сirculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, Modern Art Oxford, Langhans gallery in Prague, Carlos Merida Museum of Modern Art in Guatemala, Art Center Winzavod in Moscow, Gostiny Dvor Museum and Exhibition Complex in Archangelsk, Regional Art Museum in Tjumen, Museum Center in Krasnojarsk, Russia State Center of Photography in St. Petersburg, Contemporary Art Museum in Santo Domingo, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires, Latvian Museum of Photography, Latvian National Museum of Art, The Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art. Stakle’s works have been included in numerous art magazines and exhibition catalogues and can be found in several public and private art collections including the one of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia, the Latvian Photography museum, the Thessaloniki Museum of photography in Greece.
