Βoutos Periklis (1958-)

Professional Doplomat, Periklis Boutos has photographed since 1980. He attended the seminars at Photocircle and selected lessons at the School of Visual Arts and the International Center of Photography.

In 1991, he was appointed at the Vienna embassy, in Austria. Then, Consul at Venice, Italy and in 2000-2002, General Consul at Novorossisk, at the coasts of the Black Sea. In 1992, he participated in the missions of European Union’s observers at Croatia for the compliance of the opposite parties to the conditions of the cease fire. These experiences were recorded in his book “Observer in Croatia” (To Rodakio publications), along with his photos. He also published the photo-books “Venice – Carnival Unmasked” (CHARTA publications) and “Reversible” with a series of portraits of the Novorossisk people.
His photographs has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
