In northern Greece the tobacco factories are called tobacco stores. Meandering through the vast spaces, once full of life, made me discover how important to Greece the production and also the sale of tobacco had been. The unity of these photographs lies not only in the former common use of these buildings, but also their current different uses. It is a part of a wider project, to record all the tobacco stores in Greece, where the industrial heritage left by the tobacco production will be presented.
