The renowned Greek schools of Istanbul (Phanar Orthodox High School, Zografeio High School, Zappeion High School, Koinotiki Astiki of Chalkidona, Astiki Vlangas, Galata Primary School) are the subject of Paris Petridis’s exhibition. In 25 selected photographs, the artist has captured the interiors of these noble buildings, built during the last quarter of the 19th century by the once thriving Greek-orthodox community, portraying their contribution to the creation of Hellenism’s collective conscience as well as their intrinsic aesthetic value.

The exhibition is presented as part of the Mois de la Photo in Paris, November 2008.
