A night in the city. A city night in Athens and Thessaloniki. For the first time this year as part of the Photobiennale / 20th International Photography Meeting, April-May 2008 a new award was initiated: the Pilsner Urquell / Photomuseum award, where artists attempted to capture the fleeting images of a night in the city of Athens and Thessaloniki. In this exhibition the works presented are by the artists who were awarded the first prize for the city of Thessaloniki (Stelios Skoulos, Efi Panagoula, Giota Mastrogiannopoulou) and for the city of Athens (Thomas Gerasopoulos, Spiros Staveris and Thodoris Fragkos). During the exhibition the works of the shortlisted photographers from both awards are shown in a slideshow.
