The exhibition is presented as part of the 18th Month of Photography in Bratislava, Slovakia.
In his solo exhibition Manolis Baboussis presents 35 large sized photos, from which a series of 17 photos entitled Exchanges (2007-08) are presented for the first time. The photographs survey the control of human life’s access in the public sphere, the organization and its interaction with nature. Through his photographs the artist implies man’s entrapment in religion and in every sort of institution.
