In George Golobias’ memory

Τhe photographic archive of Leonidas Papazoglou, part of it presented in this exhibition, reveals the significant social and economic furrows in Kastoria at the start of the 20th century. These are black and white photographs from the archive of Kastorian photographer Leonidas Papazoglou that have come into the possession of collector George Golobias. They are mainly personal and group portraits of inhabitants of the Kastoria area, and of soldiers, or, more generally men of arms of various backgrounds. At the same time, a small proportion of the photographs show scenes of daily life, events and social appearances.
