From 1903 and for almost three decades he wandered and photographed life, monuments and landscapes in every part of Greece. We are referring to the Swiss Fred Boissonnas, whose photographs from his two trips to Mount Athos (1928-1930) are presented in this exhibition. Through these images the religious life, the architecture of the monasteries and the dominance of the elements of nature over the landscape, are revealed. The TMP is the depository of the Greek photographic archive of Fred Boissonnas (Hellenic Culture Organization).
