The Thessaloniki Museum of Photography organizes guides and educational programs in the context of its periodical exhibitions. The Thessaloniki Museum of Photography will repeat its educational workshop with the topic “Games with Light”. The workshop is concerned with the properties of light and its use in the creation of the photographic image. The children will construct their own pin-hole camera and produce prints of pictures. The workshop is open to children from 10-12 years old along with their parents.

Starting with photographs of the city of Thessaloniki from the archives and the collections of the TMP the children will use theatre to understand the historical evolution of the city and will come in contact with the work of well known photographers of the 20th century. The workshop is meant for children from 10 to 12 years old.
