The concept of this international group exhibition of contemporary art is an “intercultural” dialogue among artists who live or work in France with artists from other countries on the topic of (self)portrait. The exhibition will be realized in two phases. The first part includes video installations by artists such as Tomma, Lejman, Hartmann, Klonaris-Thomadaki, Tsoublekas, Zervou, while the second part includes photographic works by contemporary artists from Greece and abroad, such as Nan Goldin, Suzanne Lafont, Philippe Ramette, Orlan, Christina Dimitriadis, Panos Kokkinias, Manolis Baboussis, Venia Behraki.

The exhibition is part of the parallel programme of the 2nd Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art, 24.5 – 27.9.2009, Thessaloniki
