Thessaloniki Museum of Photography calls adolescents between 13 and 16 years old on a trip to the magical world of photography. Teenagers will be trained in the art of photography by analyzing concepts such as frame, angle, decisive moment and will deal with the basics of photographic technique. The course is theoretical and practical and the program’s goal is for participants to practice their gaze towards image.
The workshop, lasting 15 hours, will be held at the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography during 11:00 to 14:00 on the following days: Monday July 4, Wednesday July 6, Friday, July 8 Monday, July 11 and Wednesday, July 13th.
Participation fee: 30,00 EUR / person. For siblings 10% discount. Due to limited seating will be a priority.
Participants having their own digital camera is a prerequisite. The workshop will be held by photographer Stefanos Tsakiris.

Stefanos Tsakiris is a graduate of the Department of Photography of Athens TEI, specializing in historical printing techniques. He works as a professor of photography at AKTO School. To his credit includes educational workshops for children and adults, and vulnerable social groups in cooperation with museums and cultural institutions (Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art, Thessaloniki Museum of Photography, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Veria Library and several schools). His studio is in Thessaloniki. Engaged in copying works of art and advertising photography.
