The Thessaloniki Museum of Photography organizes comics workshop in cooperation with the publisher and comics author Nick Dalampyra. In the workshop, lasting 15 hours, children aged 10 to 13 years, will become familiar with the “language” and comics drawing tools in order to understand the art of comics as multimodal image and to investigate their relationship with photography. Each child will create his own comics, which will receive printed.

Participation fee: 45,00 EUR / person (includes all materials used in the laboratory). For siblings 10% discount.

The meetings will take place daily at the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography (Warehouse A, 1st floor) between Monday, July 4, 2016 and Friday, July 8, 2016, hours 17:00 to 20:00. Due to limited seating will be a priority.

Nikos Dalampyras is a graduate of English Language & Studies of AUTH. Over the last fifteen years is a music producer of the biggest rock radio station in the country, emitting the frequency of FM 1055 Rock Thessaloniki. Over the last ten years he has assumed custody and issuing of more than 50 independent publishing comics by Greek authors through publishing “Ninth Dimension”, and has participated and organized dozens of exhibitions and seminars on this subject throughout Greece. To his credit include dozens of hours of educational workshops for children and adults, in collaboration with various institutions, either on the art of comics or interactive games that are designed experiential learning history.
