Born in Athens. She studied printmaking and scenography at the School of Fine Arts in Athens and photography and cinema at the Fachhochschule Düsseldorf. Since 1978 she teaches photography at the Fachhochschule Düsseldorf and at the People’s University of Düsseldorf and since 1985 serves as president of the Professional Association of Artists. She has held solo exhibitions, participated in group ones and has published several albums, such as the Griechenland 2000 in 1988. Her works can be found in public collections including the ones of the National Library of Paris and the Dusseldorf Film Museum and in private collections in Greece, Germany, France, USA, Finland and Italy. She lives and works in Düsseldorf.
