Born in Athens, where he studied at the School of Fine Arts, he has gained a scholarship from the German State and has obtained his master’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. He was a founding member of the group “Young Greek Realists” and of the Center of Arts (KEI, Athens 1974-1976). He was also a member of the artistic group 10/9 of Munich. He lived in Berlin and Brussels and in 1994 he was elected lecturer at the School of Fine Arts in Athens. He has held several solo and group exhibitions of his work in Greece and abroad.
