The Thessaloniki Museum of Photography calls adolescents between 13 and 16 years old and children between 7 and 12 years old on a trip to the magical world of photography. Teenagers will explore their personal needs, dreams and fears, and learn how to capture them in photographs. The courses will include technical and visual information, as well as a number of photographic exercises. Children will be introduced to concepts such as frame, angle, decisive moment and will deal with the basics of photographic technique.
The workshops, lasting 15 and 20 hours respectively, will be held at the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography during 11:00 to 14:00 and 10:00 to 14:00 on the following days:
Monday, August 27 – Friday, August 31, 2018 (first workshop)
Monday, Septembre 3 – Friday, August 7, 2018 (second workshop)
Participation fee: 40,00 EUR / person for the first workshop and 50,00 EUR / person for the second one. For siblings 10% discount. Due to limited seating will be a priority. Participants having their own digital camera is a prerequisite.
The workshops will be held by Antonis Vlahos, Maria Kokorotskou and Despoina Tsiptse.
